According to Volaris Unaccompanied Minor guidelines, children between the ages of five and fourteen are considered unaccompanied minors, are entitled to special services, and must be escorted through the airport by Volaris staff. If the child is four (4) years old or under, an adult traveller who is at least 18 years old must accompany them. Depending on the child's age and destination, many material standards and constraints exist. The age of the child will be determined based on their chronological age at the time of travel, not necessarily at the time of booking.
